Jamex Signs on with Smith Marketing

Smith Marketing Services, LLC will provide marketing counsel as well as design and communications services to Jamex, Inc., a leading manufacturer of vending systems and payment solutions since 1981.
Ithaca-based Jamex provides self-service access to copiers, printers, computers and fax machines through cash, stored-value card and network-based solutions for a broad range of markets, from libraries and universities to copy shops and convenience stores. Office equipment dealers, original equipment manufacturers, and software vendors worldwide sell Jamex products.
"Our first project was a benefits test to determine what customers valued most about Jamex products and services," Doug Smith, President of SMS, said. "This gave us the data we needed to help the company expand existing relationships and enter new markets."
SMS provides market research, advertising, public relations, interactive media and sales promotions for the railroad, manufacturing, financial services, economic development and tourism industries.
