SMS was enlisted to create a massive online, interactive learning course for the Automotive Lift Institute (ALI), which helps technicians in auto repair garages, dealerships, and other contexts safely lift vehicles to reduce the risk of injury, property damage, and damage to one's reputation as a professional. The paid course is available only through ALI, is approximately 40 minutes in duration, features streaming video and numerous 3D animation, and was produced in both English and Spanish versions to reach a wider audience. Users of the course are also issued a certificate, following successful completion of a knowledge assessment / end-test.

We were pleased to be put this ad together for Syracuse, NY-based Anaren, Inc. -- to promote their awesome Cellular Machines remote temperature monitoring system to restaurant chains, owners, and other food-service entities at the 2016 NRA trade show. (It turns out many food service establishments still use clipboards to manually track refrigerator and freezer temperatures -- which is costly, prone to errors, clunky for regulatory reporting, and not ideal in terms of ensuring food safety. Hence the "kill the clipboard" concept!) Click the image for a closer look at the copy.

This SMS-created trade ad for Mettler-Toledo's High-Speed Checkweigher subsidiary helped launch the company's X-Series automated checkweighers to key vertical markets - and also helped sales reps sell weighing machinery benefits to food packaging manufacturers. The marcom program for this same product launch included additional print ads, brochures, trade show support, press kits, mobile training bus, and customer research/benefits testing which drove/underpinned the entire campaign.

SMS produced this teaser ad for Anaren - a leading supplier of RF technology for the commercial wireless, consumer electronics, and space/defense sectors. The ad built suspense for several new product launches relating to embedded radio modules and associated development tools at the world-renowned Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. SMS has also assists Anaren with trade show graphics, videos, and other marcom initiatives.

Darco Manufacturing (Syracuse, NY) engaged SMS to develop its new corporate brochure, which -- by virtue of a nifty belly band and special #10 envelope with a teaser message -- doubles as a direct mail piece offering free hotel/meals to prospective customers who schedule a plant tour.

SMS created this website for JR Clancy, a worldwide supplier of theatrical rigging technology and services deployed in major metropolitan venues and high-school auditoriums alike. The site communicates with customers, contractors, and theatrical distributors - providing both a top-level view of JR Clancy's services and engineering expertise and saving targeted audiences time with instant access to thousands of product specifications, configurations, and other user/installer/specifier support tools.

Incomeda - a fast-growing, Ithaca, NY-based supplier of rapid prototyping sheet-metal solutions to OEMs worldwide - launched its business with support from SMS. Our contributions included business planning and technical literature aimed at design engineers, specifying engineers, and operations managers at large manufacturers requiring short-run productions and prototypes.

New York State Gas & Electric (NYSEG) and Rochester Gas & Electric (RG&E) are public utilities whose service areas cover 60% of upstate New York. To help them attract and retain customers, they launched a comprehensive economic development program -- based on the SMS Look Upstate NY concept. The program expedited information access and application through a dedicated website; included print advertising, brochures, direct mail to customers, and online components; and enabled the utilities to economize through graphics/text that readily adapted to each organization's branding/graphics standards.

SMS helped JAMEX roll out this product catalog, which offered OEMS a family of self-service cash, stored-value, and credit card payment systems for copiers, computers and printers. The graphic approach employed simply but effectively helped design engineers at the OEMs 'envision' their current or systems with JAMEX sub-assemblies on board.
